Why are Models Appearing as Cubes?
When reopening a scene the models can appear as cubes if the game settings do not include paths to the source MDL files.

The current VMF Exporter does not yet export the correct texture alignment, rotation and scaling on brush geometry and displacements.
Incorrect Rotation on World Geometry
Fixed in WWMT 1.867
In earlier versions of the VMF exporter, non-rectangular faces on geometry produce inaccurate texture rotations.

Detailer is a detail sprite primitive plugin with exporters. The tools allow you to either create VBSP files, and will also create geometry that exports into the Source Game Engine with the Wall Worm VMF exporter.
