Wall Worm Proxies are objects that let you re-use a model in a scene that you are exporting into a VMF.
Generating LODs
The Level of Detail Generator on the Level of Detail Tools Rollout lets you generate LOD models from the root mesh. The tool will make lower-res versions of your model so that less polygons are rendered in-game when players move farther away.
Alpha Spec
This utility is a helper function to convert your Specular Level bitmap into the Alpha channel of another bitmap.
Running Function with Keyboard Shortcut Opens Docs URL
Some of the MacroScripts in Wall Worm now have a default secondary action when executed with the SHIFT key held down.
Information on why keyboard shortcuts using the SHIFT key open the online documents for the function rather than running the function.
Slow Closing File or 3ds Max
This problem is fixed with sculpt meshes created with WW 2.82+.
3ds Max seems to hang when closing a file with a large sculpt mesh.
When Opening Scene there is a startup script error.
Anvil embeds reference to a script in your 3ds Max scripts folder. If that file is missing, there can be an error.
Anvil embeds some scripts for scene startup to protect displacements from being invalidated via improper manipulation. Older versions of Anvil referenced a file that could cause an error if missing.
